Today we are going to get to know a little more about one of our fantastic Orthodontic Assistants, Leisha!
Leisha joined our team in the summer of 2015. Along with over 15 years of experience in orthodontic assisting, Leisha brought her positive attitude and passion to do her best each day. Leisha says, “I enjoy working at Hughes & Cozad Orthodontics because of the patients, doctors and all of the ladies. It’s not one thing that makes me love being here but everything as a whole! What makes it even better is my passion for orthodontics; I absolutely love the career that I was made for!”
Leisha is married to Eric and they have a handsome set of twin boys, Brody and Nathan! Brody and Nathan are three years old and are constantly on the move. Leisha shares that staying active is her key to keeping life enjoyable with her busy little men!
Leisha recently beat her personal record at the 10 for Texas Race -The Woodlands and she completed the Terrain Race in Conroe!
Here are a few fun facts about Leisha: If she could spend the day with any celebrity it would be Jimmy Fallon. Her dream vacation is to spend time in a hammock while visiting Hawaii! Blue October and Florence & The Machine are two of her favorite musical artists. If she were to join the circus she would perform on the trapeze. Leisha loves to organize and the one movie she could watch over and over is Elf! On top of all of that her favorite thing to do is make her babies laugh!
The next time you find yourself in Leisha’s chair, rest assured that you are in great hands and maybe ask her about her time playing volleyball or what she had as a pet growing up!
